What You will Learn

The four disciplines of ultra-running

Most ultra-trails contains a mixture of trail run, uphill run, downhill run, power walk; with fundamentally different bio-mechanical and physiological demand.

How to train smarter

Learn how to build a structured training plan and sustainable routine that fits into your busy schedule.  Long range and short range plans.

It takes more than fitness…

Your choice of gear selection and the decision you make on fueling and hydrating strategies are critical.

Your mind is your greatest weapon

Ultra-running is hard.  To be successful, we need to train our mind just as much as our body.

The final piece of the training puzzle

A personal race strategy that brings our hard-earned training to life on race day.  Setting appropriate race goals: process, outcome and/or effort goals.

About Your Camp Leader

Capra OL

Together we’ll get stronger and faster.

As far as I can remember, I have always loved swimming and exploring new sports. Since I discovered running 12 years ago, I have been more interested in different endurance events like marathons and Ironman triathlons. In parallel, my taste for travel and photography led me to explore new territories and to constantly push my limits through new experiences. Trail running grew as a natural extension of my dual passion for exploring and running.  I currently focus on ultra trails (from 100 to 160 km).  Before Capra Adventures, I worked for 15 years as a photojournalist in the south of France and co-founded a photographic press agency.
